In case of a claim under the guarantee, please contact your specialist retailer or the service centre directly in the country in which you bought the device (the country of purchase is the place of performance for this guarantee). Please do not send the device until we have instructed you to do so. Please do not send us the device carriage due, rather please contact your specialist retailer or the service centre in advance. Should you have been requested by us to send the device, please state the defect and attach a copy of the purchase receipt.

In addition to the statutory warranty, a guarantee in accordance with the following provisions is granted on all MEDISANA products:

  1. The warranty term is three years from the date of purchase. In case of a claim under the guarantee, the date of purchase must be proved by means of a purchase receipt or an invoice.

  2. During the warranty term, defects which arise due to defects in materials or the manufacturing process will be corrected free-of-charge. The guarantee service will be provided by means of restoration, i.e. repair or replacement of parts, depending on the choice of MEDISANA. Should a repair be impossible or uneconomic, MEDISANA will replace the device by means of an equivalent replacement product. Replaced parts and exchanged devices shall become the property of MEDISANA.

  3. Any services under the warranty shall neither bring about an extension to the warranty period, nor shall they substantiate a new guarantee.

  4. The following are excluded from the warranty:

    1. All damage caused by improper handling, for example due to non-compliance with the usage instructions.

    2. Damage caused by repairs or interferences on the part of the buyer or unauthorised third parties.

    3. Damage which is caused during transportation between the manufacturer and the consumer, or during forwarding to the service centre.

    4. Accessory parts which are subject to normal wear-and-tear.

    5. Filters

    6. Products which were purchased via surplus item dealers or via re-marketing.

  1. Additional or other claims are not substantiated by this guarantee. Liability for indirect or direct consequential losses which are caused by the device shall also be excluded, should the damage to the device be recognised as a warranty claim.

  1. The guarantee shall lapse should the type label or device number be removed or made unreadable.

  1. The guarantee shall also lapse if the defect is not notified immediately.

The online warranty extension for a total of 5 years takes place via registration of the Medisana Air product page on the Internet at http://www.medisana.com/air. Please follow the instructions on the page. Please retain the confirmation of the online warranty extension and the purchase receipt.

The warranty extension extends to engines, fans and sensors.

For the 3+2 online warranty extension, the terms of guarantee listed above under 1) to 8) apply accordingly.

The online warranty extension shall only be effective if the basic claim under the guarantee can be proved by submission of the purchase receipt.
