MEDISANA, with its product innovations was very much a part of the trend at the IFA 2014
Neuss. Never in the 90 years of history of trade fairs were so many product innovations presented to visitors as to the 240,000 visitors as at the IFA 2014 that ended on 10 September. MEDISANA, the leading specialist in preventive health care in the Home Health Care market, was also a contributor. MEDISANA had several innovations in its kit, which conformed to the global trends in networking and Wearable Technologies, and were in great demand. This included the pulse meter Mio FUSE and the pulse bracelet Mio ALPHA 2, which, through intelligent technology, make a chest strap for heart rate measurement superfluous and in addition, can transfer the values determined via Bluetooth to smartphones etc. Moreover, this also includes the entire “Connect” series from MEDISANA, which facilitates mobile health care with equipment like the Activity Tracker ViFit Connect, various blood pressure instruments or body analysis machines. But attention was also focused at the MEDISANA booth on the powerful new room air cleaner MEDISANA AIR® from the “Healthy Homes” product range.
Ralf Lindner, Chairman of the Management Board of MEDISANA AG, was very happy with the progress at the fair: “With the new Medisana Connect mobile health products and the new sport pulse meter bracelets and watches of the Mio series, we were very much a part of the trend for networked health products at the IFA.”
In addition, the innovative product presentation concept with the eye-catching acrylic display as well as the cooperation from MEDISANA with the health coaching offer HausMed was well received by our trading partners and representatives. On purchase of a MEDISANA “Connect” product, customers will receive a free coaching voucher from HausMed.
“We have earned a lot of praise for our new booth-concept and look forward to doing good business with our customers and suppliers in the upcoming season” says Lindner. “The IFA 2014 has definitely exceeded our expectations”, is his assessment.
