EU Data Act
Your data rights with connected medisana products (according to the EU Data Act)
Introduction
Since September 12, 2025, Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 ("Data Act") applies in all EU Member States. It requires that users of connected products have access at all times to the data generated by the device.
On this page we inform you about,
- which data our products collect,
- in what format these are available,
- how you can access the data,
- what rights you have.
Medisana Connect products in combination with the VitaDock+ App & Cloud ensure you free access and export of your device data – as soon as you actively enable the transfer.
This requires two steps:
- Create a VitaDock+ account (including agreement to Terms & Conditions & Cloud Services)
- Bluetooth pairing of your device with the VitaDock+ App
Only when both steps are completed will your measurements be transferred to the app and made available in the cloud.
Without activating the account and Bluetooth pairing, all data remains exclusively local on the device. In this case, no data transfer takes place.
