Improved measurement accuracy thanks to new test strip technology
The MediTouch 2 test strips are based on an improved enzyme composition (GDH-FAD) that specifically reacts to glucose and minimizes interference from other substances. This enables the MediTouch 2 blood glucose meter to deliver even more precise measurement results. In addition, the test strips feature underfill detection, which prevents a measurement when the blood sample is too small. The medical device provides the result within just five seconds and stores up to 480 measurements in the device.

Practical starter set
You receive the meter in a practical starter set, so you can easily take it with you anywhere. Beschrijving klopt niet
Deze glucose meter laat niet toe de geregistreerde gegevens op te slaan. In tegenstelling tot de Vitadock app melding is er geen bluetooth verbinding. Voor de USB aansluiting is er geen software verkrijgbaar op het Internet en de beschrijving op bijsluiter klopt dus niet.
Gevolg dat men de gegevens handmatig in dagboek moet opschrijven en de gegevens kunnen niet met arts digitaal worden gedeeld. Zéér onzorgvuldig want mijn andere Medisana apparaten werken wel met Vitadock. Deze glucose meter raad ik daarom niet aan.
After applying the blood sample, the result will appear in approximately 5 seconds.
The device detects when too little blood has been applied and thus prevents an unreliable measurement.
Please note you can label measurements as "before eating" or "after eating" to make it easier to compare your trends.
For abnormal readings, the device can display a ketone alert - for added awareness and safety.
