What is CareBox®?

The medisana CareBox® is a modular digital health solution that connects patients and healthcare professionals – whether at home, in outpatient clinics, or in mobile care environments.
Developed in partnership with Docs in Clouds TeleCare GmbH,
the CareBox® enables secure, real-time data transmission and
supports efficient digital workfl ows. It bridges the gap
between distance and medical expertise.
System Components:
- Certified medical devices for accurate vital data collection
- Central HUB as a secure bridge to professional healthcare software
- Cloud-based software including advanced physician platforms for diagnostics, monitoring and documentation
- Integrated telemedicine functionality for secure video consultations between patients and healthcare providers
- VitaDock+ App for quick one time setup for full device integration and data access
Step 1: Patients measure their vital signs easily.
Patients record vital signs using certifi ed medisana devices – quick, easy, and reliable.
Step 2: The CareBox® Hub transmits data.
The HUB automatically collects data from all connected devices and securely transmits it to the VitaDock Cloud – fully automatically and without any user interaction required.
Step 3: Caregivers monitor patients remotely.
Healthcare professionals access the data instantly via a cloud-based platform – TeleDoc by Docs in Clouds – enabling:
